Let’s face it—life is scary sometimes. Even more so when you’ve received a frightening diagnosis. The fear felt during a traumatic experience can be downright crippling.
By far the hardest part about going through cancer for me was the fear and anxiety that seemed to pervade much of the experience. Fear crept on me like a sucker-punch to the gut, knocking the wind out of me when I least expected it.
After going through a traumatic life experience, there are many emotions that need to be processed. Some we might regard as negative, but for a moment let’s focus on the positive.
